Hey folks, I hope this newsletter finds you well!
It’s a new week after wrapping IRON & FROST and things are looking bright! I’ve already started my next project (more on that shortly) and I spent Monday working on a new portfolio to email around all my comics contacts from Marvel, DC and Dark Horse to see what I might do next. Things had been a little quiet at Marvel while I was wrapping up I&F, and I was starting to worry that my opportunities there are drying up so I figured it was time to starting branching out. Thankfully, my portfolio has started some positive conversations already - here’s hoping those chats translate into something cool very soon 🤞
A huge thank you to everybody that picked up IRON & FROST #1, and those of you that shared kind words of support (shout out to Reese, Michael and Klikke): it means a lot that you’d pick up a book drawn by me - and it really helps my career prospects with publishers - so I hope you felt the investment was worthwhile, and that the art brought you joy.

MARVEL MULTIVERSE RPG: SECRET WARS EXPANSION
At New York Comic Con a couple of weeks ago, the team behind the MARVEL MULTIVERSE ROLE PLAYING GAME (MMRPG) held a panel to talk about the recently released Avengers Expansion and, at the end, they announced that the next Expansion will be SECRET WARS! I’m incredibly grateful to the guys for having me back to do original illustrations for what will be my fifth RPG Expansion book. I’m so humbled that they keep hiring me to illustrate this series.
I started rough-sketching the SECRET WARS illustrations yesterday and I’m about a quarter of the way through planning the full set; I’m really trying to step my game up on this book, in hopes that I might parlay my work on these splash pages into some cover work down the line. As for the content of said splashes, I’m unable to comment but I’ll share what I can when I can!
And whether you’re a fan of the MMRPG already or have no idea what I’m talking about, I’d like to recommend the Fantastic Success Substack; a MMPRG focused resource written by Ciarán Laverty:
